Rockland exterior makeover complete. 9 windows replaced with Harvey’s new construction to match existing newer windows. Front exterior existing clap board stripped and replaced with Certainteed seagrass monogram double 4” vinyl siding. Cedar shingle siding stripped and replaced with Certainteed sterling gray triple 5” cedar impression vinyl siding. A lot of trim replaced with Pvc. New front entry door, roof, gutter and all new exterior lights. Beautiful contrast between the 2 vinyl colors

Roof in Weymouth. Certainteed Colonial Slate Shingles. This customer was having some serious ventilation issues and could not figure out why. The entire underside of the sheathing on the front of the house was covered in black mold. We came in and figured out that the general contractor who built his addition went over his existing plywood soffit with Vented soffit panels without opening up the plywood for airflow. So we removed all the plywood on the front of the house, cut venting holes into the plywood soffit. Installed all new 1/2” cdx plywood with pro vent rafter vents for proper air flow. Then come to find out the same builder never vented the bathroom stink pipe through the roof. It was venting right into his attic. We were able to get our plumber out same day to run the pipe up through the roof

Plymouth siding job. Certainteed sterling gray cedar impressions and white 8” board and Batton. Installed strapping to the front of the house over the brick to be able to install the board and batton. Built out the stucco on the sides of the house 1 1/2” to give the cedar impression a smooth transition to the rest of the side. We trimmed out the windows with 1x4 pvc with a built in j channel. New front entry door. Crew did an amazing job!

Rockland roof install. We removed all plywood on the back side of the roof due to mold and rot and replaces with new 1/2 cdx plywood. Installed proper ventilation so that mold would not form again. And of course new lead flashing on the chimney which we include on all roof installs.Then installed Certainteed Espresso shingles

Certainteed monogram Melrose vinyl siding we finished in Whitman this week. Ripped 2 layers of siding off this house. 1 layer of clapboard and 1 layer of aluminum siding. Replaced 2 exterior doors and added 2 storm doors. Wrapped the entire house in tribuilt 3/8 insulation board to make this home a little more energy efficient. We then installed new vinyl siding and wrapped all the house trim with white aluminum metal.

Siding Job we finished in Rockland this week. Savannah Wicker double 4” Certainteed vinyl siding with all new azek trim around windows and doors.

The last couple weeks we have been focusing on trying to get some repairs done that we were falling behind on. This repair was due to faulty window installation and flashing. We were called out to repair a leak on the lower window but the guys did a great job by figuring out that the leak was being caused by the faulty installation and flashing of the upper windows so we were able to remove the siding, flash the windows correctly, remove all the rotted wood and patch it back up. Just about every unit in this condo complex is experiencing the same issue so we have a lot more to go. Grateful for my crew and their experience, to be able to figure out these issues quickly and efficiently!
